描述：The sequence of this "anti-angiotensin II" peptide has been deduced from the antisense mRNA complementary to the human angiotensin II mRNA. The resulting octapeptide shows 50% sequence homology with angiotensin II. It acts, however, as an antagonist of different physiological actions of angiotensin II, such as uterine contractions or hypertensive responses in the rat.
