描述：Lysozyme C (46-61) (chicken) also known as hen egg lysozyme (HEL)-(46-61) has been reported to be immunogenic in C3H.SW mice but not in MHC-identical C57BL/6 mice despite the presence of immunogenic determinants within this peptide. The unresponsiveness of C57BL/6 mice to NTDGSTDYGILQINSR has been suggested to be due to a difference in antigen processing since removal of Arg⁶¹ allows for binding to class II MHC molecules and renders this peptide immunogenic in C57BL/6 mice. NTDGSTDYGILQINSR showed ACE-inhibiting activity, IC50 = 4.9 μM).
