描述：Substrate for angiotensin I-converting enzyme (ACE) containing the green fluorophore NBD, which is shifted from S to N after enzymatic cleavage (4,4´-dithiopyridine is added to the assay to scavenge the liberated sulfhydryl group). This rearrangement causes a shift of the absorption maximum from 423 to 461 nm. Cleavage of the substrate is best monitored by measuring the increase of absorption at 470 nm.
