描述：Cydiastatin II (AYSYVSEYKRLPVYNFGL-amide), a type B allatostatin from Diploptera punctata, shows strong C-terminal homology with the four known type A allatostatins. It inhibits the synthesis of juvenile hormone by the corpora allata in vitro in a manner qualitatively and quantitatively different from the shorter type A allatostatins.
